Galaxy Wire & Cable has a full line of value added services to offer to our customers. We can take customer-supplied material or provide the material and the service in a timely fashion. The following details our capabilities:

Barcoding - Barcode labels on packaging or individual parts.

Braiding - An overall braid added to any wire or cable product.

Cut & Strip - Lead wire or cable conductors cut to length and insulation stripped.

Cutting - Cable cut to specified lengths.

Dyeing - Various insulations can be dyed to desired color.

Kitting - Component parts assembled and labeled in one neat package.

Labeling - Stick-on or printed tubing for identification purposes.

Leadmaking - Fully automated equipment which will cut, strip, tin and terminate wire in one step.

Printing - Wire, cable, or tubing can be printed with a unique legend.

Striping - For ease of distinction in cables with greater than ten conductors or even individual wires.

Twisting - Individual conductors mated into twists according to your specifications.

Galaxy Acquires Fully Automated Crimping Machine

Galaxy has recently added a Schleuniger CrimpCenter 67. The CrimpCenter 67 is a fully automated crimping machine that has multiple functions. The flexible High Performance model CrimpCenter 67 holds up to 7 stations (max. 3 crimp stations) on one platform and is specialized for customers with a large variety of standard and special applications such as crimping, doubling, sealing, tinning or twisting. A multitude of applications can be processed without changing the equipment. The large 6-series model processes both ends of the cable in one automated process.
