Galaxy Wire & Cable is a woman-owned small business that began in 1995 as a result of Kathy Stussy's already successful 15-plus year career in the wire and cable industry. In her career working at various cable houses, Kathy realized very early on that there was a need in the industry for a supplier that could provide custom wire and cable products and hard to find items with quick deliveries and low minimum quantities. With this idea in mind, Kathy opened Galaxy's doors.

Today, Galaxy has become that and more. While we competitively offer all types of wire and cable products, custom or not, we have never strayed from the original focus of the company. At our core is the desire to assist our customers in obtaining the best possible product to suit their needs. We take pride in engineering and delivering material that will improve the quality and function of our customer's products. From beginning to end and thereafter, we truly are all about working side by side with each individual customer.

Galaxy Acquires Fully Automated Crimping Machine

Galaxy has recently added a Schleuniger CrimpCenter 67. The CrimpCenter 67 is a fully automated crimping machine that has multiple functions. The flexible High Performance model CrimpCenter 67 holds up to 7 stations (max. 3 crimp stations) on one platform and is specialized for customers with a large variety of standard and special applications such as crimping, doubling, sealing, tinning or twisting. A multitude of applications can be processed without changing the equipment. The large 6-series model processes both ends of the wire in one automated process.

Galaxy Expansion

Galaxy has recently expanded upon is manufacturing floor adding an additional 3,000 sq ft. This growth and expansion have allowed Galaxy to satisfy current and future manufacturing needs of its customer base.
