Industrial Automation Cable and Variable Frequency Drive Cable for Industrial Automation Uses

Galaxy provides Industrial Automation cables to a variety of markets that include factory automation, automated warehouse facilities, and robotics.

What are Industrial Automation Cables?

Industrial Automation cables are designed to carry signals two-way and allow communication with automation equipment and are used primarily to control automated equipment. The signal transmission capabilities allow automated equipment and robotics the ability to perform multiple different tasks. Galaxy’s Industrial Automation cable products are engineered for Fieldbus Systems and utilized in various protocols. They are suitable for fixed installation, which have been pallet racking safety approved, indoor and outdoor, on racks and in conduits. Industrial Automation cables are increasingly used in the modern automated warehouse environment. These cables are utilized in industries such as automated warehousing and picking facilities, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, robotic assembly facilities, pulp and paper, wastewater treatment plants, metal fabricating and mining. Common types of Industrial Automation cables include Probifus®, Fieldbus® and Devicenet™. These cables are all engineered and manufactured to the rigid requirements of IEC, CSA and UL standards.

Standards for Galaxy Industrial Automation Cable

Galaxy provides many types of Industrial Automation cables. The standards they conform to can include, but are not limited to the following:
