What is Tefzel®?

Tefzel® is a fluorocopolymer thermoplastic material. Tefzel® is sometimes referred to as ethylene tetrafluoroethylene, ETFE or Tefzel® ETFE. Tefzel® has excellent electrical properties. It also has good resistance to both heat and chemicals. Due to these characteristics it is widely used in many industries and applications. Tefzel® is commonly found in aerospace and aviation applications.
