Galaxy DBE-Certified for UCP in California, Texas, Illinois

Galaxy Wire and Cable, Inc. announces that it has now been certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the 3 more states: California, Texas, and Illinois. Galaxy was previously certified in Pennsylvania. These certifications allow Galaxy to participate each state’s Unified Certification Program (UCP) and became official in February and March of 2020.

California

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) offers the DBE certification and administers the UCP in California. The Caltrans DBE Certification Brochure web page describes the program.

Texas

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) offers the DBE certification and administers the UCP in Texas. The TxDOT DBE Program web page describes the program.

Go to that web page, select “Search Certified Directory”, and search for “Galaxy” in the Business Name/DBA field.

Illinois

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) offers the DBE certification and administers the UCP in Illinois. The IDOT DBE Certification web page and the IDOT UCP Directory web page describes the 2 programs.

Pennsylvania

In 2019, Galaxy was certified as a DBE by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and participates in the Pennsylvania Unified Certification Program (PA UCP). Achieving these DBE certifications in multiple states is another step in an ongoing effort to continually improve and grow Galaxy’s business.
