Galaxy Wire and Cable is now certification as a qualified HUBZone small business concern. The certification became official on May 1, 2019.

HUBZone is a program created by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA). HUBZone stands for Historically Underutilized Business Zone. The purpose of the program is to assist small businesses in becoming part of Prime Government contracts. The HUBZone program was created in 1998 and has a goal that 3% of prime contracts include HUBZone firms.

Galaxy is now eligible for HUBZone opportunities and will be included in the searchable list of qualified HUBZone small business concerns on the SBA HUBZone website, which now includes Galaxy’s company profile.

Achieving HUBZone certification is another step in the ongoing effort to continually improve and grow the company. Becoming HUBZone certified will make Galaxy a highly sought-after source for the various wire and cable products that are supplied, including anything from basic wire to complex custom designed cables to wire harnesses and cable assemblies. Galaxy will now be able to support government prime contractors who have a requirement to source products from a HUBZone certified company.
